WE HELP YOU MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION
Great question! We know this isn’t the first time that you have thought about constructing a new home and we appreciate you thinking taking the time to see what North Country Storage Barns has to offer. We ask that you bring some plans and ideas to us so that we have something to start off with. There are many plans that can be found online for free and we just ask that you have something in mind so we can have something to work with.
Absolutely! Once we take a look at your plans and discuss what you are looking for we are able to give you a ball park estimate based on what our homes have been coming in at currently. To get an exact quote obviously takes time so if you were interested in hearing the price range that we estimate your home to cost, we would sit down and get to work quoting out everything you might want. This usually takes a few weeks as there is just so much involved in quoting things out. We ask that you please be patient with us.
Truth be told, we can’t. As you may be aware, materials have been all over the board. North Country Storage Barns has been affected by this. Since we are more than year out, we can give you the quote at the current time but reserve the right to change the price by up to 10%. When we get within 4 months of starting your project, we will have an idea of what the market will be like and would start purchasing materials for your job and would be able to lock in prices at that time.
Nope! We can certainly have that done for you. Actually, its included in the price of the home! We do ask that you bring us ideas on what you are looking for. Many free plans can be seen online or on our website (check out the modular floor plans). We can take your ideas and draw up your house the way you want it, making your ideas come to life. Once we have your plans up to your liking we then get them stamped by an engineer so we are ready to go! We do ask for a $1000 deposit to start the drawings as they usually take quite a bit of time to make (this does not include the engineers stamp). That deposit would be incorporated into the cost of the overall home pricing if we construct the project for you.
Since the creation of our homes and garage division of North Country Storage Barns, we have been blessed with constant work from our customers. We work with many people that can do the basements for you. We price it right out and can get it taken care of for you. Whether it’s a basement, crawlspace or just a concrete floor for a garage. Let North Country get the quotes for you and set up the work.
We encourage you to make this home your own. We can help you make it fit the feel and look that you would like. We deal with custom cabinet makers that can build anything your mind can think of. You have control over siding, roofing, windows, flooring, painting and the list goes on! We certainly don’t want you to feel limited and strive to make your vision come true.
It certainly does. We offer a 1 year warranty on most things in your home. With being a new construction, if things were to go wrong they usually happen in the first year. The structure is new and needs to settle which can make a few things pop up. North Country takes care of those tricky issues. You also will carry warranties of your roofing, siding, windows, etc through the manufacturer. NCSB uses tried and true brands that stand behind their products like Certainteed Siding/Roofing Shingles, Clopay Garage Doors and Pella Windows.
Let us take care of that. We will work with the codes office for your towns getting all building permits and zoning permits as applicable. Let the people building your project deal with that headache! We have constructed jobs all over the North Country and are familiar with the codes as well as the code officers.
